Which should you choose?
Volcano Chaser or an Entomologist . Both of these jobs are full of interesting expirences and adventures! |
Did you know? Entomologists are people who study Insects. There salaries range from: $29,260-71,270. Volcanologists are people who study Volcanos. There salaries range from: $45,360-97,200. |
Entomologists and Volcano Chasers have similar jobs,in that they are both out of the ordinary and nature-related. However an Entomologist is a better job, for two reasons; It is less dangerous, and they can control their enviroment.
The first reason you should choose Entomologist over Volcano Chaser, is the safety. As a volcano chaser, you would be close to lava and poisonous gases, which is dangerous and could kill you. It would be horrible to almost die everyday, just for work. And the salary is not even high enough for it be worth it to almost die on a daily basis. Not to mention that over 20 volcano chasers have died in the past 20 years!
The second reason it is better to be an Entomologist, is that you can control your enviroment. As an Entomologist, you can work inside, where you can control things like the temperature. However a volcano chaser would likely have to work in or around volcanoes, which are very unpredictable, and dangerous. As a result of these reasons (among others), I believe that the best career of the two is the Entomologist career.
An Entomologist named Steven Kutcher says "People fine me, and I'm off on another adventure there's problem solving, and exploring and teaching and educating people about insects."
